Miss Southern Oregon: Kayla Bowker
Kayla contacted us in May, asking if we’d be interested in being her sponsor portrait photographer for the Miss Oregon USA Pageant. We were delighted to do so and enjoyed getting to know her. Kayla is a beautiful, kind-hearted young woman and we’re honored to be associated with her, the Miss Oregon Scholarship Program, the Miss America Program, and all the fine work these programs provide.
By winning the title of Miss Southern Oregon, Kayla qualified to compete for Miss Oregon this July 7-10, with the winner going on to represent Oregon in the 2011 Miss America Pageant. In addition to July’s competition, Kayla plans to visit Tennessee and Costa Rica this summer for different charity projects and then resume her studies at the University of Oregon in the fall.
